Located in one of Denver’s best neighborhoods, this historic bungalow had a charming farmhouse feel but was in desperate need of more square footage. The basement entrance was on the exterior of the home, which meant the only way to get to the lower level was through the backyard. Fait Homes knew that in order to make this house desirable, a back addition that housed the basement stairs was necessary. Along with the stairs, an office space, laundry room and master bathroom complete with an antique dresser vanity and claw foot tub were added. The finished house was a stunning space filled with custom touches, including a classic epicurean kitchen with custom white bead board cabinets, a custom granite inlay nestled in the hardwood floor, and a dish display rack over the sink. In the end, Fait Homes masterfully married form with function to create an impressive result.
